hey guys, i just finished watching Hallmark's movie (A Class of His Own, starring : Lou Diamond Phillips as Rich Donato). the movie's about 2 hrs long. Rich Donato's working as a janitor for his hometown high school. at the same time he's applying to be one of the school teaching staffs, teaching maintainence works. he's got no diploma because he quit school when he was in year 10 so he had to take a G.E.D. test *i dunno wat that is* and he must get 81 marks so he can get the job. he took the test 3 times but still he couldn't get 81, his last G.E.D. test was only 80 marks, so close. after couple of months later, the head of school department called him on the phone telling him that he got the job. he knew that the parents of the high school's students sent letters to the head of school department which made the head of the school dept. had to accept him for the job. he tried taking the test again for the last time, now finally he got 81 marks which he needs to make him eligible for the job... it's a sad story to watch, i almost cry, but i really enjoyed watching it. it's now one my favourite movies. i can see myself in him. although actually he's a slow learner, i can see he's trying hard to achieve what he needs for his future, his life and his family. i love the character. i love the movie soo much..Labels: movie
